Recording Studios
We've got 7 rooms dedicated to sound at Village, two 5.1 studios, a music suite, SFX suits, two mix rooms and two recording rooms.
We've also got enough live studio space to record up to 15 people.

The Studio
Sound Studio 1
When you get into our main live studio you can feel the history reverberating from the walls. Studio 1 once was home to numerous number 1 songs, orchestras and live jazz bands.
The room is still used for sound recording as well as photography and green screen filming on our massive 5m by 7m green screen. The room is still available for group voice recording and radio plays and has 24 permanent microphone lines to control room 1.
Control Room 1
Control room 1 acts as the hub for Studio 1 and Voice Booth 1 (below). With a 48 channel Mackie desk as well as Tannoy far field and PMC near fields, in addition to a Genelec 5.1 setup, control room 1 is perfect for voice dubbing or mixing your latest cinematic masterpiece!
Voice Booth 1
Hard wired to Control Room 1, voice booth 1 is where we lock up voice actors for our dubbing work. We have 2 permanent mic lines, 2 headphone lines in addition to a video feed so the actors can get it right, first time... Most of the time!
Sound Studio 2
Sound Studio 2 is our smaller recording room. The room is floating, with double sound insulationso that recordings sound lovely and clear! Like Voice Booth 1 we have 2 separate headphone lines, video, and 8 mic lines.
Control Room 2
Otherwise known as 'Tony's room', Control Room 2 ties into Sound Studio 2. The room, whilst having a full Pro Tools system, is our main mix room for TV projects. We have full a full 5.1 Genelec system for mix.
Music Studio
The Music Studio, Mark's main home is room to old and new, digital and analog instruments alike. All music from Village begins life in this room, before being passed over for mix in one of the larger studios.
SFX studio
The SFX Studio is a simple little room for our SFX production for our TV productions. A full Pro Tools system and Tannoy speakers finish the room off.
Video Edit 1
Our main video edit suite, complemented by a machine dedicated for Photoshop, After Effects and motion graphics work. All our systems run Edius Professional Video editing software and are backed up by a Canopus Convertors.
Video Edit 2
Video Edit 2 is where the main bulk of editing is carried out, before being moved into Edit one for final checks, and fine tuning.
